Singapore again.... such an early flight! Got to leave at 6am! Fortunately my secretary had arranged driver pickup from home to airport... but still... I had slept throughout the flight!

As soon as I checked in the hotel, I did "some shopping"!!!?  Why.....?

Um... maybe it was such a rush to catch the morning flight that I have forgotten to pack my leather shoes for the business suit! hahahah! So I dashed off to buy a pair of new shoes.... just in time for my meeting in half an hour!  當然搵到最 cheap 果對喇!

Silly me that I thought I know Singapore very well....supposed to have this "off-site meeting" at "a Mandarin Hotel".... but I didn't expect there are in fact "3" of them in Singapore!! Mandarin along Orchard Road, Marina Mandarin at the Marina and Mandarin Oriental also at Marina!

But I went to the wrong one!  我仲話俾 d 同事聽, 我曾經 o係 Singapore 住過一個月tim! 好瘀 ah!!

我一向都唔係太鍾意睇「花生騷」, 今晚破例喇....

應 MasterCard 邀請參加佢地 sponsor gei "Luxury Week"... 當中有 famous fashion designer Jean Paul Gautier 嘅 fashion show! 咁咪去捧吓場 la! 據講 Madonna and 劉嘉玲都係捧場!

場面都幾盛大, 喺 Four Seasons Hotel 舉行, 亦吸引咗好多名人和藝人嚟睇, 所以也令好多傳媒來拍照採訪!

例如如以上相所見, 坐正我對面嘅有任達華, 甘國亮, 胡燕妮, Nelson, 孫燕姿, 黃家諾 etc....

So far, I'm not a fans of Jean Paul Gautier 'cos his design is usually quite 誇... and 窄和貼身, 唔多啱我, 除咗好多年前收過一支 Gautier 嘅古龍水禮物之外, 我都冇買過佢 d 衫... 

不過今晚睇完呢個 show, 我對佢 d design 有 d 改觀! I think some, especially 男裝 are quite OK.

少有嘅 shopping promotion during this "Luxury Week"... 買滿HK$10,000 Gautier 服裝就送個限量版 MasterCard Keychain!!!!???

時間過得真係太快喇, 咁就兩個星期...今晚「2008北京奧運會」完滿結束! 睇到呢幕「閉幕儀式」, 好感動好唔捨得!

今屆是我最留意奧運的一屆, 因為是圓中國百年夢, 攪得空前成功! Being a mega event organiser before (when i was working at 旅發局), I could really imagine how much pressure to cope with when running a "mega show" like this! But of course, our events in Hong Kong are nothing comparable to this BJ Olympics in terms of complexity, scale and impact la!!!

北京奧運係歷屆最多建設 (二千億 RMB), 最多國家/運動員參加( over 200 countries with 10K+ athletes), 最多新世界記錄,  最多中外傳媒, 最多義工(一百多萬人呀!), 最長傳聖火, 最 spectacular gei Opening and Closing....

中國奪取最多金牌! 51面金! wow, 共100面獎牌!!! What a perfect number! 我為國家有咁好嘅成績興奮, 亦為自己身為中國人而驕傲! 相信好多香港人唔會再跟外國人話: 「我係香港人」, 而係「我係中國人」呀!!

我亦為美國臨時改變計獎牌總數而唔係國際慣用嘅金牌數目而感到奇怪!! 唔通呢個就係「永不言敗」嘅美國精神嗎???!

Um.... 明天開始冇得個個台都係播奧運, 有 d 患得患失嘅感覺!! 唉...   點都好喇, 明天要收拾心情返工, 要過番 d 「正常」生活 la!!?

昨晚在公司做到八點半, 掛緊三号風球, 又話會轉八號, 本來打消了去睇奧運馬術嘅念頭, 但手上嘅票雖然亦係 Sponsor 請, 但正是馬術比賽 Jumping Final, 成$400蚊一張, 唔去好似唔好意思...

去到會場已經九點九, 以為十點十分頒獎完場, 點知原來只係 Break (仲係個半鐘咁長??!), 剛好睇到十點的第二部份..

雖然中途下了一陣雨, 但總算「天公做美」, 好快停了, 打風冇影响 Final 賽事... if the typhoon came in one day earlier... Um... 咁就慘喇!

But I'm surprised why some of the Games in Olympics are always being held so late at night.... 明白馬術係因為香港日間天氣太熱, 但上星期我喺北京鳥巢睇比賽都要睇到半夜呢??!

I thought all athletes would live a healthy life... 早睡早起身體好 tim!!??

原來睇完 d 馬術票可以優先去15間中銀分行用$138蚊換購「奧運記念鈔票」, 唔係排通宵隊呢!
